I often say to undergraduates if you can’t decide what you want to do after graduation make a list of things you actively want to avoid in your career.

The thing at the top of my list back then is what I have been lumped with for the last three years. So much for being congruent!

I guess my point is the 'Murai reaction' was actually published nearly a decade earlier by Lewis. Same metal, same mechanistic concept, same class of products. Murai did beautiful stuff, but he didn't set the precedent
