Also, I saw ICE for the first time as I left DC. There was a very small group of armed dudes in brown camo standing around in the heavily gentrified area near 14th & U. They looked like absolute clowns amid folks having a good time at the bars & restaurants. A big fucking waste of tax payer money.

Drove into DC last night to see @ladyhatchet.bsky.social and her quartet between trips to my storage unit (still moving) and, GODDAMN. I fear those four women have become too powerful and they haven't even reached their final forms yet.

So, my mom was bitching about this and saying she had never even heard of Bad Bunny and that he's "foreign". I was like, I know he's HUGE & young people love him but I'm pretty sure he's from Puerto Rico. I looked up it & my mom continued to rage.

I had to ask her if she knew PR was part of the US.

As someone that is always a step behind in tech (and also at least digital humanities adjacent from years of academic Twitter & conference crashing), I love this.

There was a sort of magic to hand-writing college homework in my first few years but I'm sure it was horrible to grade, lol.
