Kudos to these TriMet and PBOT staffers. They hear so many unhinged and mean rants from some folks who just don't want anything to change, yet they remain calm and just do their job.

Also, seems like we are finally seeing some transit organizing in Portland!

This will be Portland's most high-profile bike lane. It's a shame downtown worker traffic is so much lower post-Covid because this could have been one of the city's busiest bike lanes too. Can't wait to see how it all shakes out.

PBOT Director Millicent Williams will share her vision about bicycling in Portland and engage in conversation with the committee about matters related to bicycling.

SE 122nd Avenue (6:50-7:20)
PBOT Project Manager Bryan Poole will provide an update on the projects happening on 122nd Avenue, timelines, and share the design considerations for the segment of 122nd between Powell Boulevard and Foster Road where a road diet is being proposed. This project last came to the BAC in February 2025.

TSP “3 Wishes” discussion (7:20-7:50)
In a follow up to the September BAC meeting at which Senior City Planner Francesca Jones presented on the TSP, the BAC has an opportunity to develop their “3 Wishes” feedback that will help shape the vision and goals for the future of Portland’s transportation system. As noted in the September BAC meeting notes, and TSP presentation, the wishes should be high-level, affirmative (what you want to see), and why the wish is important.

Food trucks & other vendors make public spaces sticky & build community.

PBOT made a first pass at cutting back vegetation w a maintenance truck. Volunteers with hand tools did the rest.
