Nothing ever come to no good up at Choctaw Ridge ... and it probably won't be any better for the next four years ...

Surprising the BBC are skipping the fact the video showed how out of control Kent council and its Leader are.

They’ve gone right to reporting Livid Linden’s witch hunt.

Suck it up Linden.

Reform UK Kent council leader reports video leak 'cowards'
A video appears to show Kent County Council's leader telling her party's councillors to "suck it up".

“Reform’s leader in Kent said that Reform councils were ‘the biggest advert’ for what a Nigel Farage government would look like. Well, now we know what that means: complete chaos ... Reform is in meltdown, and it’s local residents who will pay the price."
The far right press have gone after Starmer because they knew if they allowed him to succeed Labour could be in power for a decade.
I'm not sure the "I'm just as bad as everyone else" defence is quite the win she thinks it is ...

ITV's drama #TheHack is a must-watch. A great series about the brilliant investigative journalist NickDavies' exposure of the phone hacking scandal. @sussexbylines.co.uk featured him in the first Defenders of Democracy series

Living in Dorset I meet quite a lot of former Tories - the third of the party that didn't vote for Brexit - who will probably never vote Tory again ...
Apparently Jonathan Gullis keeps putting salt in the tea instead of sugar at the Centre for Social Justice so there may soon be a vacancy ...

“.. Each flag had to be hand-stitched, costing U.K. taxpayers a cool $67,000 in total. But it’s a small price to pay to keep the president happy.”

The point I was making (which I thought was obvious) is that if you start a publication funded, owned and managed by women you might chose a woman to be the face of your publicity campaign ...

If you don’t like being called a racist, maybe don’t make a career of saying things that appeal to racists, don’t create a political party that keeps attracting racist candidates, don’t fawn over racist world leaders, and don’t make a convicted racist the guest of honour at your party conference.

I was given masks whose ear loops fell off & aprons so flimsy they ripped apart when you tried to put them on, Michelle.

Nurses and porters in our hospital died from the Covid they caught there, Michelle.

How dare you try to bleat victimisation now, Michelle?

Michelle Mone’s PPE MEDPRO was a company that was less than 3 weeks old, with zero employee’s, no contracts, no premises, no previous transactions of any kind and with £100 in the bank.

Then the Government gave it £203,000,000.

Jail, jail, jail.
Much as I like Stewart Lee ... and appreciate that there is a place for a column by a man in a new women led magazine ... couldn't they find a suitably qualified woman to front this?
Not quite sure how doing some volunteer radio journalism on the Faroes, a year or two at YouGov, and an internship at the Financial Times qualifies her to be a financial expert ... but maybe that's not necessary at the Telegraph ...
