That, and "failed to protect ICE agents"; ICE is Federal, courts have long ruled that police don't actually have to protect the public, and if Vance really wants ICE protected there's protective custody. Or the Witness Protection Program.

this was the left critique of harris during the whole campaign. she responded to the "they're eating the cats" shit with "actually we should be worried about fentanyl coming from the border" they are fundamentally unwilling to accept anything but the right wing framing of "illegals" being a problem.

All we can say is "this shouldn't be happening!!!" - but we can't really say WHY, because almost no-one is brave enough to say "the status quo for undocumented immigrants was exploitative. our immigration system is unjust and non-functional, and these people should have legal protection"

(Both literally - Pres and VP have to be from diverse states - and practically, in that VP is usually picked to appeal to people the President doesn't always appeal to, though in this case that's the RW big donors.)

That's because it doesn't work that way; this crank is over-interpreting a sentence he doesn't know how to parse.

Any officer can be impeached for any of the listed reasons,
but it'd be rare to impeach more than one at a time (e.g. a big bribery scandal.)

You could theoretically try and impeach the whole gang at once,
but you wouldn't get THAT to the floor of the House,
much less get more than a few votes from either major party.

Yes, this does not at all mean that "If you impeach the President for Treason, you get to kick out the entire Administration, Executive Branch, and Courts."
It'd normally be one at a time, though if you want to get laughed out of Congress you could TRY to impeach them all at once.

In the US, I've missed Alaska (may fix that some day) and North Dakota (won't, though my grandfather was born there.)
In Canada, I've slept in BC, Ontario, and (as a little kid with no memories of it except a photo my parents say was Montreal) Quebec.

I walked by Havel's office one day in 1992. You could just do that; it's in the castle with other bureaucratic offices and tourist stuff.
We didn't try to go in, and I don't think he was there that day,
but it was no big deal, just a waiting room and secretary desk behind glass doors to the walkway.
