Moved back to my hometown this year after 10 years and signed up for everything bc volunteering is a great way to meet people and one of those things happened to be being a poll worker! If you happen to be in Greenville County, SC:

I can’t tell if the Platner defenders just have extremely low standards for the people in their lives or think politicians should be held to lower standards than most. Like I wouldn’t choose a doctor who had that tattoo & JUST covered it. Or trust a neighbor with it or a date or teacher or anyone.

It is not wrong to expect near perfection from someone seeking to be in the top like 0.1% most powerful people in the world! You can be an upstanding member of your community and live a great life of service but getting a Nazi tattoo is a perfectly reasonable permanent disqualification from office.

all of these people would do well to learn something about “cheap” and “costly” grace. no one is saying that platner is irredeemable, but that some things are a bridge too far for someone seeking a public trust. if he feels truly contrite, he can work on himself and his community and try again.

Would like to submit Derrick Brown for DPOY and MVP. One of the worst rush defenses ever last year with him injured and now the panthers are 4-3 thanks largely to keeping Bijan, Achane, Javonte, and Breece in hell

The league needs to sit down with KOC and ask him just what it is he does to not just scheme for QBs with deficiencies (like McVay and Shanahan have shown an ability to do) but to somehow fix QBs and make them legit pro bowl caliber.

Also Daniel Jones was getting shat on and that man won a playoff game with Isaiah Hodgins as his number 1 WR…tbh it’s what keeps me from wanting the panthers to move on from Young because we JUST got a WR who seems to know where the sideline is and (mostly) how to use his hands.

I do think some of it is the rebirth of the running game simplifying things for QBs as well as just the fact that yeah…guys get better with time.
Also I’m not going into all the intricacies of contracts but the AAV of Dak is the same as Baker+king Henry+Kamara
