I remember Chornobyl very well. Was about 8 or 9. All of a sudden we weren’t allowed to drink milk.

The wind took the isotopes to Norway. It was illegal to eat reindeer for a while if I recall correctly.

Your events were huge to me too. I lived in the US at the time of the Oklahoma City bombing
