Fun fact: despite the enormous land mass, the population-weighted density of Canada — basically the density experienced by the average person — is the same as Denmark and close to the Netherlands.

and, honestly, i'd rather be mostly loudly accepted and a bit loudly hated, than just quietly being okay by everyone.

because haters will always find a way to let you know, even subtly, and if we don't have people loudly being accepting then there's nothing to counter that. you just feel the hate.

we might not statistically be the best in polling or something, but i think that we're some of the loudest in both extremes - some of the loudest supporters, and some of the loudest detractors (of human rights).

I can only imagine that, if they overturn conversion therapy bans, that will truly only help asylum claims for trans Americans in Canada considering it is a criminal offence to provide, promote, advertise, perform, or profit from conversion therapy.

The fact that we can get Tylenol 1 (acetaminophen + codeine) without a prescription is great. Last time I did they just asked “30, 60, or 120”.

More things should just be OTC. If we can’t have doctors let me do it myself at least.
