It's also unfair, too, because somewhere in my mind, I feel like I'm losing part of my identity. Trauma Brain says I must be afraid of touch, so if I want it, then I'm not who I've been saying and thinking I am. So Trauma Brain tells me I'm a liar even to myself.
That may not be a bad thing, though.

It's such a scary feeling. Making yourself vulnerable because you want that physical touch so bad, yet every nerve in your body is screaming in alarm.

You are not alone in, on the one hand, being desperately terrified of physical touch-- but, on the other hand, desperately wishing you could just collapse into the arms of someone who you know would hold you safely and for as long as you need.

I'm officially seizure-free for a whole year.

Woot. I just finished Chapter 8 of my #Thorki fic and I'll post it later this week.
I had hit a bit of a slump there, but things are looking and getting better. So Chapter 8 is done, there's another chapter in the world, and there's a couple other projects that I've gotten back to.
