Just read a post about Thanksgiving 'humor' stories and one of them was a woman describing putting orange juice in a dish because her son's girlfriend claimed to have a citrus allergy which she believed was fake. She had an EpiPen just in case.
Whether she did or not, that wasn't funny.

I *hate* that interviewers have given up on even gentle pushback when Trump's people confidently assert that they inherited "an absolute economic mess" and therefore had no choice but to set about restructuring the entire U.S. economy

The only way a lot of women stayed wealthy was by staying married. They literally could not walk out the door and walk into a bank and open their own accounts. They were financially trapped.

Wealthy women still had access to more credit and wealth, one way or another, than working class women (and they still do). It's not unlike how they have always had better access to reproductive healthcare, including abortion, and healthcare in general.
