If you think things were just fine and dandy in 2015, either you are being very nostalgic or you were cushioned from the effects of austerity.

Is it worse now? Yes, massively, and Brexit *has* accelerated that.

But give over thinking that's the only fucking issue.

'Everyone knows that all this stems from Brexit' only shows that prior to 2016 you were quite comfortable.

Brexit happened because of huge inequality and ironically, the people fuelling that inequality very deliberately and effectively turned the very people affected most against one another.

Felt like wearing a dress today.

Albeit one that looks like a grey potato sack.

And the whole 'huh, *I'm* going to die too' thing.

Yes, but it stops them joining together and looking at the really problematic section of society... those who have much more than 'enough'.

I'd say dont do anything stupid, but I'm almost sure you will. Just keep the degree of stupid down.

With social media, or life in general?

Rewatching Stranger Things and the first season (which I still love) is basically a macabre, non sexist, non racist Enid Blyton adventure, isn't it?

Anyone in the Malvern area- a friend’s daughter and her husband are looking to rent a house there. They have an elderly springer spaniel. Both have good jobs and are decent folk.

Absolutely. Death, including violent death is 100% part of the natural world and almost certain when we get involved.

But that last scene, with Hazel... I defy anyone with a soul not to well up a bit.

It's mine too. I honestly think its beautifully crafted. Four parts that are seperate but lead perfectly on from the rest. Proper charactor arcs, action, threat, justice and redemption.
And you can feel the love he has for the countryside itself on every page.

Yeah, which was a real shame because I like the actor. Just a terrible rewrite all round. I was really looking forward to it, because they gave it enough time and episodes to do the whole story, pretty much as laid out in each part of the book. The OG film, though horrific in parts, had real charm.

I don't see why you should? It's a skill and in audio books helps massively with a large 'cast' of characters and one narrator

It was fucking bizarre. They make out Efafra to be a gestapo lead concentration camp (to the extent it's in an old airforce base), but apparently they are flummoxed by the others running along a minor road.
Plus they did my boy Kehaar dirty, which I will never forgive them for.

The 12th circle of hell. Mild mockery.
