And Dems did NOTHING about this! The ruling came down and Dems said "oh, that was a bad ruling, need a constitutional amendment" instead of a full-court press of "THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS FROM AN ILLEGITIMATE PARTISAN SUPREME COURT OF FASCISTS."

But Dems had to "respect the institution" and here we are.

You’re either a paid staffer, a bot, or a Republican, because no one who actually is opposed to ICE or the military occupation of our cities could claim in good faith that the Dems are making enough of an issue about those two outrages.

Whenever the Vichy brigade responds “Dems have no power, what do you expect them to do?”, I say that Dems could be leading and calling for mass protests.

But instead they’re just…silent. Barely mentioning ICE or the occupation of cities because…fruitlessly chasing the law and order vote, I guess?

We knew this from day 1. When Dems wouldn’t stand up for their own member’s right to use the bathroom of her choice - and when she went along with it to “not rock the boat,” it was obvious that Dems weren’t going to fight for shit.

I’ve called @chu.house.gov a dozen times about it and every time her staffers give the lame excuse that “because the resolution condemned political violence, she voted for it.”

It was 1 clause, after 20 praising Kirk.

Chu didn’t release a statement when the two MN legislators were murdered.

And then chickenshits like @pocan.house.gov voted “present” because “voting no would let them rile up their base.” As if they weren’t going to do that anyway.

Why don’t the press call him out? Literally every journalist knows he’s lying. They should walk out. They should hammer him. They should do something other than just nod and smile and act as stenographers.
