Opening up Bluesky to visit all the little friends that live in my phone
Scene from King of the Hill. Hank's mom is staring lovingly at some miniature figurines

Really enjoyed that. The story operates on some serious moon logic that I don't think makes much sense if you think about it too much, so uhhhhh don't do that I guess? I didn't know anything about this one so Triangle was a pleasant surprise

Now watching Triangle (2009). Having a real lazy day today
#Filmsky 📽️
Movie poster for Triangle. Melissa George brandishing an axe in the bloody deck of a ship. There's a reflection on the deck of a SCARY PERSON OH NO YIKES

Ok that rocked. Angela Bettis is phenomenal in this. How did I ignore this movie for so long?

Still from May. Angela Bettis is working in the vets office carrying samples while wearing her cool cardboard glasses

Went for a pleasant post breakfast walk and met some nice ducks, then had to run uphill back to the car because it started raining. Danger is my middle name and I get my deadly thrills from going for autumn walks in Oregon
A cute duck swimming about like how ducks do

I was switching between the new Flock of Dimes and the new Testament albums while doing my morning chores and the whiplash was invigorating

My vinyl copy's out for delivery so I can't listen to this in my nook with a hot drink. 💔

It's Last Four Friday, the day we celebrate the popular movie app, Letterboxd. God bless you, Letterboxd. Without you, how could we ever remember the last four movies we've watched? It would be impossible.

I like this song so much that I have the T-shirt. I can't wear this thing anywhere, but I still enjoy it
A Tshirt based on the Chat Pile song Grimacesmokingweed.jpeg. it's the titular Grimace with red eyes in a field of marijuana. He is brandishing a large bong next to the band's logo

Yep, that's the usual V/H/S/ hit/miss ratio. Home Haunt was my favorite but there are other good ones as well. Alas, one of these shorts is a total stinker, but hey, shit happens. Loved hearing Chat Pile over the credits. They are a very good rock and roll band if you ask me

Now watching V/H/S/Halloween. This series is inconsistent but I love horror anthologies and there's usually at least one standout short in each one. These are usually pretty fun

Movie poster for V/H/S/Halloween. It's a yummy red sucker that's shaped...like a skull???!

A Snake of June is probably my favorite Tsukamoto film and you should definitely watch it
macelikespace.bsky.social
Watched a movie by the Tetsuo guy but it's not Tetsuo. It's just as good tho! Starts off like a noiry psychological thriller but then turns into something very strange and Lynchian (in the proper way that it feels like someone's dream broadcast live on screen). It's pretty incredible!
A Snake of June (2002)

Agreed. Somebody just needs to digitally remove Quentin from that scene the way they removed the visible buttholes from Cats.

I think I usually skipped that part. It's possible that associating feet with Tarantino's general yuckiness caused me to NOT have a foot fetish

Even though it had been a long time since I last watched this movie, that Salma Hayek scene feels like it's permanently burned into my head as a perfect visual memory simply because "DuskDawn.mpeg" was one of the most frequently opened files on my computer 20 or so years ago

Now seated for a Regal "Screams on Screen" screening of From Dusk Till Dawn. I think the last time I watched this was a DVD rental from Netflix a million years ago.

Yesterday I told a coworker that I thought eating Sweet Tarts Ropes felt like consuming bone marrow from the skeleton of a candy person, and today she brought me treats. I need to be disgusting at work more often
A little pile of Sweet Tarts Ropes with a post it note reading "Enjoy some bone marrow on me!! 😀"

Vinegar Syndrome is having a one day sale on Piotr Szulkin's Apocalypse Tetralogy and this seems like a pretty good deal. I've been curious about these for ages but I haven't checked them out yet
