Haha they made the same movie again. Return of the Sister Street Fighter has the same plot as the first two movies and recycles character types and even scene concepts. The only thing that distinguishes this one from the other two is that it's less grimy and violent (and memorable)

In addition to excelling at kicking criminals to death, Sister Street Fighter is also great with kids

Absolutely squandering a valuable day off on cleaning my carpet. This is disgraceful.

Kind of forgot about this game, but I had a lot of fun with this one. Definitely worth the $12.99 I apparently paid for it. A good PS2 deep cut.

You’re kidnapped. The characters from the last show you watched are coming to rescue you.

I've definitely gotten better at Kirby Air Riders in that I'm more in control and I'm starting to parse the chaos more reliably, but none of that improvement has translated into me ever getting out of 5th place in every online race

Yeah, Hanging By a Thread is even meaner and more action packed than the first Sister Street Fighter movie. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Etsuko Shihomi beat up more mustache twirling villains who get introduced like they're video game bosses.

This rules. Wing Commander was so far ahead of its time.
Your memory correct, the original Wing Commander has an elaborate mission tree! An average play through goes through less than half of what’s scripted.
November 24, 2025 at 7:30 PM
This reminded me of when I was a kid and discovered that you could eject in every mission of the first Wing Commander and you could keep progressing through the story, but your cowardice was so harmful to the war effort that you eventually got to an unwinnable mission and got a bad ending
That if you eject from your starfighter in WING COMMANDER III immediately upon takeoff, there's a cutscene where Blair (Mark Hamill) trudges back into the landing bay and his commanding officer rips him a new one for a couple of minutes
i was going through my X archives and found this by @superpodsaga.com, which I qrt'd at some point years ago

so, let me bring the question back: what is the most useless piece of video game knowledge you know?

My coworker left a Cinnabon and a baggie of bacon on her desk unattended and now I'm asking myself if she counted those strips of bacon 🤔

I really enjoyed Sister Street Fighter a lot last night. Wasn't expecting this to be quite so grimy and violent, but I found it very entertaining. Looking forward to watching the rest of these. The sequels are just as good, right? That's how all movies work, so I'm sure they're great.
Now watching Sister Street Fighter (1974). I'm sleepy and in a sour mood, so let's watch people kick each other for awhile. That will reinvigorate me.

This is truly bizarre behavior. Their use of AI would be enough to steer me away from this label, but apparently it's not even safe to do business with them.
HEADS UP: The owner of YIPEE-KAI YAI MOVIEGOER, who is releasing a bunch of Albert Pyun films, has angrily called and threatened someone who criticized one of their releases for using AI.

You ever pick a movie at random without giving it any thought and it turns out to be exactly what you needed? Great feeling

The director of Who Killed Teddy Bear every time Juliet Prowse almost distracts us from another long lingering shot of Sal Mineo writhing around in his underpants

This was so good. I don't think I've ever seen a movie of this vintage approach sexuality and perversion in quite this way before. Who Killed Teddy Bear is a very unique and stylish surprise and one of the better random blind buys I've ever picked up.
