I pretty much do understand what mass extinctions are. I've been reading about ecology geology paleontology etc since I was 17. I was always a big fan of Steven J Gould. Have you read Snowball Earth?

I know exactly what to say. I think people are more important than animals. I don't think any mass extension is worse than the death of a single human child.
Anybody who thinks otherwise.... If you don't see how this looks , think again? You do fantastic work, don't spoil it like this

It's not just in China you know. Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Finland, germany all have incredibly dense high-speed rail systems. You think they don't care about environmental etc?
And if you think Chinese infrastructure development can completely overrule local rights, Google "nail houses".
