So people are made to think our coping behaviors ARE our autism when really, they're just how our autism MANIFESTS when our needs go unmet.

This is why I believe all autistic behaviors (especially the ones they put into the diagnostic criteria) are manifestations of unmet human needs.

The world is a different place than when I Came Out, and joined the movement to get basic human rights protections for gay peeps (1979).

And it's a very different fight now than when the virus now called hiv/aids exploded in my communities.

1. Trump has dug in on anti-trans provisions in the shutdown fight this morning, cancelling a meeting with Dems unless they cave on trans people.

His post to Truth Social is a clear indication that Republicans are making targeting trans people a priority.

From a complete psychotic break in 1978 that I immediately "moved on" from, to realizing a few years ago that my trauma is actually pre-natal, I can now see how much of my dissociation has been reacting to internal forces (hiding my ND). With added cPTSD from living through explosion of hiv/aids.

don’t bother asking Black people to vote for you, donate to you or canvass for you next year.
