Here's everything I've done so far on broligarchy, all in one place, starting with my Inauguration Day interview on @thedailyshow.com with Jon Stewart, through multiple BlueSky threads on the subject, some other interviews & a couple articles in @theatlantic.com. 1/9

I ABSOLUTELY have to work this into conversation, preferably at academic conferences: "Cease thy words and devote thyself to 'Leprosies' and 'Tents'."

And we all know that the Nobel Prize awards committee members read Truth Social!

Drake has amassed a pile of Ls so large that it can only be adequately described in German:

Funny how hunting and trapping young women to coerce them into "dating," through pre-meditated sabotage like letting their air out of their cars' tires or canceling their hotel rooms, is such a common tactic among Trump's most prominent allies.

Between him and MTG breaking publicly from Trump, I'm beginning to feel rumblings of A Great Disturbance in the Force.

Oh, "gorilla" as in "Animal Planet?" The article is paywalled, so I can't see how the author develops this idea. Is the author's point that there is something particularly appealing to Trump about wildlife shows?

Did you paint that? It's gorgeous.

Always breathtaking to encounter people whose one and only priority in life appears to be preserving the illusion that they are morally pure--and who are willing to scapegoat anybody at any time for the consequences of their own actions.

It's like Poe's "The Telltale Heart" updated for 21stC social media. Guilty-conscience-posting as the maniac dictator sends US troops to invade US cities and masked goons to disappear people off the streets into unmarked vans.

"No, the REAL point here is that Harris wouldn't have been any better."

Put this in the Louvre:

"My refusal to vote for Harris helped put a maniac dictator in charge of the world's largest economy & nuclear arsenal, & he wants to raze Gaza to build a luxury resort, but the IMPORTANT thing everyone must acknowledge is that I was right & liberals were--as always--wrong."

As the parent of a male adolescent, this question keeps running through my mind while reading the news: how do you turn immature goofballs who can't consistently remember to take their lunchbox out of the fridge for school every morning into such reliable hate machines?

It has been said: start an email with normal human pleasantries and only later get to your request for work.

But I say unto you: no, get your request into the first line so I can see it in the preview without having to click anything.

I couldn't imagine a more perfectly poetic example of saying the quiet part out loud than "we took the freedom of speech away"

Absolutely. He, an actual billionaire, is not intimidated by a fake billionaire. As governor of a state famed for its corrupt leaders on the take, 2-bit tough guys like Trump don't faze him.

Having met Pritzker decades ago, I can tell you first hand he's really like this. Would make a great POTUS.

YES: this is the best of Chicago. Let's Go Brandon (Johnson)!

Johnson: "He has defunded our education system. He has defunded our transportation system. He's firing black women across this country. He's defunding our healthcare system. This president is absolutely out of control... Chicago is going to stand firm in protecting humanity."

Given their attempts to run "breeding farms"--buying up and housing together large groups of women they deem worthy to pass along the men's genes--these guys remind me most of the warlords and khans of a thousand years ago.

"15 years ago, Polish workers came here to find opportunity. Now Poland is growing twice as fast as we are," says Kemi Badenoch.

Any ideas what may have happened in the interim?
