It's no way this cop genuinely believed it was drugs and not perfume.

Does anyone recognize this lamp? I bought a pair of them at a secondhand store a couple weeks ago and my dogs already broke one. I'd like to replace it, but I have /no/ idea where it originally came from. They were 20 USD for the pair, so they can't have been that nice to begin with.

A small decorative lamp about 14 inches tall. It has a silver metal old-timey base weathered with black pigment with a matching crown on the shade. The shade is a dome of milk glass decorated with very faint gray roses. A ring of long strings of beads runs around the bottom of the shade, and "hem" of the bead curtain is a zigzag pattern.

Dear President Obama,
I saw in your statement you said "Israeli families" & "the people of Gaza."
Palestinians have families, too.
This kind of language contributes to dehumanization. Dehumanization is part of what caused so many to stay silent as 20,000 children were killed in this genocide.
I've sat with wonderful Palestinian families from Gaza. They look at their children just like we look at ours - with all the love & hope in the world.
