They can't enjoy media like they used to, not like in the old days when games were just games and were wonderful and wholesome and yeah, of course they were.

Shit was great then because you didn't have some Youtube screaming head telling you it's all WOKE DEI AGENDA SWEET BABY BE ANGRY BE ANGRY!!!!

If you make a big match, you'll trigger a Mana Eruption! This powerful spell wreaks havoc on everyone nearby, and also fully-charges all of your spells. #indiedev #indiegame #screenshotsaturday

uhhhhh that I couldn't tell you, sorry

If I had to *guess* I'd say no, since I feel like this is the era when most games just reverted to save if you died, but I could easily be wrong

Oh, right: if you kill an officer (including the gate guard "slightly fancier mook" types), they drop a stat up, right? If you kill them with a high enough combo, that stat up is worth more. IIRC the second heavy attack is a juggle, so light->heavy->light->heavy lets you push your combo higher.

There's perma stat-ups in DW3. I remember being pissed when I came back from college break to find that someone else had grinded up the hero I was working on and he had max stats and the best gear.

I don't remember boomerang girl. She might suck, but the Nanman campaign is also just hard.

after millions of views and shares of my Portland Frog art. (thank you all🙏🏾) I got requests to highlight priests, and chickens, and Chicagoans, and T-Rexes, and more… all of us who refuse to bend the knee. so this is for US.

Three years ago Mega Knockdown was in early access with placeholder art and no plans (or money) to add proper character sprites. Then @mrmkl.bsky.social , @flynnjeux.bsky.social and @thatpunk.bsky.social organized an event called the "Niche Fighter Fete" to raise some money for new art..

That's AAA privilege speaking, I'd say. They can afford to hire moderators for Steam forums. Or more realistically, they add "moderate the Steam forums" to their community managers' pile of responsibilities.

I'm told the correct procedure here is to close all the forums but one, and make that one forum (which regular people can't post to) contain a locked thread directing users to the community space you can actually control.
Steam's add/edit forums user interface.

Thank you for the arts, I enjoyed looking at them. :)

As a kid I imagined that 3D models were solid, and wondered what you would see if you could remove the surface. IIRC it was Ocarina of Time where I realized that they were just a thin skin, because the camera could get pushed inside of objects/Link.
