This is not a call for pity but more to put into perspective how 2025 has been impacting a lot of artists:
Between losses of sales, wholesale, tariffs, and fewer corporate clients, I have lost 50% of my gross income this year as a full-time graphic designer and artist.
I haven't have a commission or shop sale in 2.5 months! And my Ko-fi goal hasn't gone above 5% in over 6 months. My birthday is next week and I'd love to breathe above water, even for the tiniest moment 🤏🎂
I have new items in the shop and several slots open for commissions:
There are still people out there who believe animals have zero thoughts and emotions so I’m not surprised it’s taken this long for science to come around to dog training.
I also found it fairly goofy but I think that comes with the territory. All my fav stupid action blockbusters are from the 90s though. I just do not dig the new ones.
