He looks determined without being ruthless. Something heroic in his manner. There’s a courage about him, doesn’t look like a killer.

great. The cats have knocked the jar over and broken off a piece of the lid. I’m sure I’ll find the missing piece somewhere. At any rate, let me just turn forty-five degrees and take a single step (barefoot)

We cannot afford to allow the same assholes who led us here to pretend that it was someone else's fault. There MUST BE a reckoning. There MUST BE acknowledgement of fault. There MUST BE humility and honest attempts at repairing the damage these ignorant buffoons have caused. 2/whatever

The simple answer is that human rights and dignity is not a casual disagreement or simple difference of opinion.

The slightly longer answer is that it isn't enough to "change your mind." There needs to be acknowledgement that the left was correct and the liberals were wrong. 1/whatever
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?

Just for the record, autocorrect showed me the “🥣” bowl before I typed “oatmeal” because the context clues building in my sentence led directly towards “he’s gonna say ‘cereal’” which is essentially the same thing
You guys make YouTube videos as though we are going to be watching them in the AMC or Regal theaters but YouTube is actually watched while somebody is slouched in a chair at home, eating oatmeal

I won’t frame this as a grand social necessity. I’ll just say that I, personally, need more people to make good and reliable YouTube content. I like watching YouTube videos but many of them are poor quality and more harmful than enlightening

Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

the funny thing about a cage is there never built for just one group. So when that cage is done with *them* if you’re still poor, it comes for you

If you want my advice (and I don’t see why you would), you should try to have both or all of the characters who are in a given conversation also exist within the same panel. At least a couple of times per page during the scene

the number one piece of advice about breaking into creating comics is always

don’t

make sure that there are a pair of feet on every page. If you do that, you’ll have solved half of your design and storytelling problems right out the gate

Nobody does it the same way, so you have to build your own practice. Hardly anywhere pays you enough to take any lip from anybody, so do exactly what you want. If you’re an artist, start measuring projects in lengths of time out of your life to orient your priorities. Do your stretches.

All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.
