WA AG Nick Brown joined CNN to speak on a federal judge's decision to block the administration's attempt to cut disaster aid and cybersecurity funding. AG Brown denounced the move as "politically motivated", arguing that essential safety funds shouldn't be used as leverage for immigration quotas.

When the U.S. Department of Homeland Security abruptly and illegally cut funding to certain states, including Washington, AG Nick Brown and other AGs filed a lawsuit. We’ve now secured a victory in federal court.

The proposed rule targeting healthcare for transgender and gender diverse people is cruel, and unnecessary. Under the law in WA, necessary healthcare for transgender people is lawful and legally protected. Proposed rules are not the law – nothing has changed in WA.
