I don't think its a denial of history to ropple a statue, its usually a keen awareness of history and a desire to make a statement on history that causes people to do that sort of thing. "Fuck you" =/=🙈🙈

Literally he could just stop. He could snap his fingers and bring the whpc into his goddamed room and apologize for what he's done. I dont think his nature allows it, but he could. Won't fix anything, but could probably address the thing he's actually worried about.

Dante mentions that Jesus literally blew the gates of hell of their hinges + makes it clear that Satan kept himself stuck in the ice by continuing to flap his wings instead of giving up his futile struggle against God. If Trump wants heaven, he can repent at any time its his nature keeping him stuck

Trump could stop flapping his wings any time, but he has spent 80 years making particular choices and building a particular nature that is deeply hostile to this fact so that man may still be struggling against God to the very last minute.

For Dante, this is the whole logic of Hell: the futile struggle against a loving God. If by our actions we create ourselves, then by our sins we unmake ourselves, we blind ourselves and we warp the will so that it opposes God's and our nature so that realigning our will with his seems hateful to us.

Introducing: Dirtbag greens!
Take a bag of frozen collards, kale, spinach whatever.
Nuke it. Mix in spicy sauce (i used chilli oil, I'm sure hot sauce would work here) Nuke it again, until its to hot for human consumption. Here you'll toss in some balsamic vinegar and mix it in while it cools down.

The most generous reading is that he thinks you can use tech to give each student the 'private tutor teaching an aristocratic child' experience. Referencing aristocracy + not John Dewey reflects that the speaker is deeply ignorant about the education system he's trying to revolutionize though.

The substance of what she's saying is bad and unconvincing, but more fundamentally, I really don't think Supreme Court justices should be going on book tours where they publicly comment on their work and respond to criticism of it. Either put it in a written opinion or hold your peace.
