(It reminds me a bit of something my nana did for me and my cousins when we were little, where she would put sugar and cinnamon on buttered bread. We called it “Fancy bread”)

So I looked up hagelslag, which seems to be chocolate (or fruity, according to google) sprinkles on bread. I feel like Hannibal would disapprove, but if his loved ones wanted it, he would try to make a healthier version somehow.
