There's no doubting that there's a wealth gap problem in this country.

BUT... ignoring the worth of the 49.9999% between the bottom half and the top 400 leaves out a significant part of the story.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Several, all of which are unfortunately NDA'd.

One that isn't - Google's AI weather model. It's exceeded expectations and it's quite new.

Financials, especially, have massive amounts of unmined data. They're learning how to use it with gen/agentic AI.

The doomsayers are focused on the wrong use cases. That's not "wrong", per se - people outside the industry don't see what large customers are using AI for - and using it very successfully. Big financials are spending billions on AI because they have a compelling business case to drive efficiencies.
