Anyway. I’ve spoken about tariffs a lot. At some level (and it’s lower than 130%) the actual number doesn’t really matter cuz it’s all devastation-level. The volatility and unpredictability is really what this new move re-highlights. Businesses can’t function if revenue is one-man-whim-based.

It oscillated between indiscriminate (and instant) ultraviolence and randomly pausing for drama (and plot armor). The party scene is a good example, as was the opening when it banged/dug into the hiding spot. Seemed out of character even for Aliens

I can’t elucidate *why* but the opening sequence and scenes are so effect as homage vs all the references and Easter eggs in Marvel/SW RotS despite being more overt in many cases.

Awesome show. Only complaint is some Xenomorph inconsistency within the show and within universe

Slowly chipping away at this little in-hand card game.

There's now a gear shift/speed gauge on the right-hand side of the player card.

The idea is you slide the horizontal card at the back of the deck up and down to show how fast you're driving.

The smallest Carnomorph is not called a Larva, it does not do an Infest, you do not place a Larva, and two additional things happen besides the contamination card.

You don’t even *use* larvas when you use the Carnomorph expansion, that is explicitly stated in the rulebook.

Awaken Realms just launched an AI tool you’re supposed to be able to ask questions of mid game. I love Nemesis but it is full of edge cases and I think the rule books are poor.

Tried the tool, and the second question I asked it is wrong in a very standard LLM way of being wrong.
