It’s very likely that my dad’s going to be not so good and telling youngest is the thing I’m dreading the most. Their relationship is a lovely thing.

Went with 18yo to see this today and it is glorious!

The exhibition is on till January and I'll definitely go again. Took my breath away so hard, one of the rooms brought tears to my eyes.

If you're looking for a perfect Halloween class book for Y5/6 that can be read in a week, you won't do better than The Last Day of October by Phil Hickes. Creepy and atmospheric, with a fantastic cliffhanger at the end of each chapter. @oriolvidal.bsky.social @barringtonstoke.bsky.social

Wow! @philearle.bsky.social “When the Sky Falls” gets a truly stunning #GraphicNovel makeover.
#FredFordham’s illustrations bring wartime London and Adonis the gorilla to life with raw emotion. A gripping, beautifully drawn story of unlikely friendship, courage & hope. #WWII

A tender triumph “My Friend, Billy Whiskers” by @dc-litchfield.bsky.social is a heartwarming tale of imaginary friendship, courage & empathy. Litchfield’s dreamy art & gentle storytelling help kids feel seen, brave & beautifully understood. A snowy-day hug in book form. #PicturebookPage

White pudding. Not a traditional breakfast ingredient but youngest loves it.

First eagle of the day. It felt so close when we were looking at it but apparently not when you look at the photo!
Grey clouds with a sea eagle in silhouette against them.

Finished reading Running my Own Race by @eyesab2.bsky.social with my Y5/6 class last week. They absolutely loved it, and it gave us lots of chances to talk about issues relevant to their own lives. Highly recommended.

We did it! Thanks so much to everyone who came to the Union Chapel gig today (and watched at home!). We premiered our cartoon, got Bunny + Monkey on stage to draw each other, and thanks to audience suggestions we drew a comic about bums + toilet bushes.I also got to hang with Max, who dressed as me!
