I make comics. Bunny Vs Monkey, Looshkin, Megalomaniacs, Flember, Fish Head Steve, Max And Chaffy, and Super Duper Bunny League coming to Nickleodeon in 2024!
The snorting noises I made at this.

Trigger Point’s back on ITV. I bloody love Trigger Point. Every episode involves someone running round blowing stuff up (the exploding e-scooters episode was inadvertently hilarious), and a main hero who’s just absolutely sick of everyone.

I hate the Grinch with an absolute passion, can’t stand the thing, so I find it upsetting he’s becoming more and more a part of Christmas. Not in this house. No sir.

I’ve not been drinking alcohol for the past few months and it’s been quite an eye opener, especially at social events. Mainly because I’ve discovered I ramble awkwardly at people when I’m sober too. I always assumed it was the drink talking before.

Went to The Speakies tonight, the first audiobook awards! Bunny Vs Monkey was shortlisted but didn’t win, but there were so many amazing titles which did. Also, two Doctor Whos in the room (a Tennant and a Gatwa) and I got to met the loveliest Ben Willbond and also Adam Buxton, who i love a bit.

I have no idea why this came up in my feed but I’m fascinated as to why this person photoshopped her face onto this body. And, also, why 143 commenters believe it’s real.

I was chatting to someone today about the film Weapons and they said at heart it’s like a Roald Dahl story, and I thought IT IS. And that’s why it’s so great.

Cannot praise Oink! high enough. Ridiculous, clever, brutally violent and consistently hilarious, and all for kids 💪
OINK! (1986): Brilliantly subversive kid's comic which featured strips from Charlie Brooker, Tony Husband, Frank Sidebottom, and Marc 'Lard' Riley. Caused a proper stink at the time; WH Smith eventually moved it to the top shelf!

I think the King Of The Hill where Peggy starts a book nook but it all ends (spoilers) with her organising a book burning might be one of my favourites of the new episodes.

Just watched the film Drop. It’s, um, it’s quite silly. And there’s a scene with a glass window towards the end which makes so little sense I feel like it’s gaslighting me.

I have a YouTube channel which I used to post to regularly, loads of drawing videos and toy unboxing and things like that. Anyway I just posted there for the first time in years, updating and chatting and that. Search ‘jamiesmartdraws’ or click here. Ta! youtube.com/@jamiesmartd...

Thank you to everyone who joined in the live comic making workshop this morning, it was SO FUN. The ideas were wonderfully nonsense, and here’s the comic we made together (thank you to whoever suggested ‘endangered sausage’, absolute genius)

I miss the old six-fingered AIs. Those were simpler times.

Superman edition found in mum's attic is most valuable comic ever at $9.12m
Three brothers had discovered the rare Superman comic in pristine condition under a stack of newspapers in their late mother's attic.

Just looking at old He-Mans and I do wonder how this guy can call himself ‘master of swords’ when he’s clearly had a few mishaps with them.

I’m going to need bands to understand that releasing a ‘special edition’ of your album is exciting until you see the extra tracks are just live tracks instead of demos and rarities 🙄

I remember the early days of the pandemic so, so well. I remember everyone urging the government to do something sooner, it seemed madness not to, but they just wouldn’t. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cm...

Can’t remember the cooking instructions I just read, can remember every single word of Fallin’ from the Judgement Night soundtrack 🫡

The stupidity of going for a mid-afternoon walk because ‘it’ll be good for you’ only to then come home and spending the next half hour trying to get feeling in your hands again before you can start work.

Ohhhhh for goodness sake.
It’s the exclusive everyone wanted, the story that will win next year’s Pulitzer…

I can reveal London’s giant AI generated Christmas artwork, the subject of much online mockery, is being torn down - and I honestly *genuinely* think you’ll never guess why. www.londoncentric.media/p/ai-artwork...
London's giant AI artwork to be torn down
The bizarre story of why a much-talked-about creation is being torn down. Plus: Docklands Light Railway extension, giant laser stalks the night sky, and more tales of Android phone theft rejection.

Supposed to be working but instead I’m looking for my old cassette player so I can listen to the demo tape I made when I was 17 😬

If I leave the room when my dog starts washing his butt, he stops and stares at me as if I’m being very offensive and I should sit back down immediately.

There are still some comic shops without any children’s comics in them, and while that’s obviously absolutely their choice, I find it really confusing why they wouldn’t want to.
Anyone have a particularly hot comic take?
