Alright, Cascadia.

First things first: there’s some Lists/Feeds that people can follow to stay up to date with what’s happening in the PNW. Going to make a thread. If you have accounts that should be added to the list, let me know. Tag them. I’ll add them so everyone can find what they need.

The suppression is getting ridiculous and the media (including so called independent journalists like Meidas) are a joke for not being louder about it.

Revolution isn’t a singular event. It’s a process. Revolution starts inside the minds of the people.

"The 64-year-old had spent nearly his entire adult life behind bars for a murder he did not commit. His conviction had been vacated weeks earlier after a court found that prosecutors had concealed evidence that would have dismantled the state’s case. But Vedam never made it home. 1/2

I DEEPLY resent that I have to take seriously the stunted, juvenile political and theological opinions of Peter Thiel

BREAM: Open enrollments starts in November. People are already getting notices about what they may pay. I mean, that's gotta be resolved.

MIKE JOHNSON: Yes, and they're eating up the clock in the month of October

(Johnson canceled the House in August to avoid taking votes on Epstein)

Many of us are aware that China is not a democratic utopia and that Lenin and Stalin were more bureaucrats who consolidated power and committed mass genocide. Although, the internet troll farms and paid influencers would have it seem otherwise. Hierarchical power structures always create oppression.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
Also, you have probably encountered the Marxist/Leninists (the “communists”) who are all over the internet and assume that this is what all America “leftists” adhere to. That is false. For instance, I see Marx and Lenin as a counterrevolutionary force who installed an even more oppressive regime.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
Not the country. The hierarchical power structure of “government”, yes. It is enslavement. When you MUST labor to make profits for a select few individuals so that you can have basic necessities that your very ability to stay breathing depends on, that is enslavement. Like healthcare, for instance.

Jared Kushner in Tel Aviv: "Instead of replicating the barbarism of the enemy, you chose to be exceptional, you chose to stand for the values that you stand for, and I couldn't be prouder to be a friend of Israel."

we need to abolish this shit
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
We’ve had this situation before. We called them “Barrons”. Oil, railway, steel, etc. We had “company towns” that basically enslaved workers. You lived in “company housing” you were paid with “company money” that only could be spent at the “company store”. MUCH context and history here.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
I haven’t called for anything. There is most definitely a group of people who control all the levers of power. They buy politicians, influence elections, dictate policies, build monopolies and manipulate society. All of them are absurdly wealthy people. It isn’t even new for the U.S.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
So in this case, what you think divided society actually created solidarity among the masses, regardless of political ideology. Which is rare.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
And another thing, that I don’t think you understand. Because that whole “lost in translation” thing we were talking about. It didn’t divide society. People from ALL sides of the political spectrum agreed with what happened. That is what scared the ruling class. We rarely agree on most things.

Even lawmakers who typically try to avoid the conversation are unable to brush it off as easily. People who did not pay attention before to the healthcare system are now paying attention and demanding more. They have also began to see how many other industries are doing the same.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
Creating monopolies and raising prices even more. They have also become more and more brazen about denying treatment to people who need it so that they can save money. Since this event occurred, many Americans have changed their opinion on healthcare and are demanding universal healthcare.
cascadiaresistance.bsky.social
Americans do not have affordable healthcare and millions die every year because of it . Many more are in debt and going bankrupt because of it. Decades of trying to get affordable healthcare has led to very few results and private health insurance companies have taken advantage of it.

Propaganda of the deed, or propaganda by the deed, is a type of direct action intended to influence public opinion. The action itself is meant to serve as an example for others to follow, acting as a catalyst for social revolution.

Removing due process for anyone, removes due process for everyone.

This cannot be overstated

Politico: At a hearing yesterday to get Abrego Garcia out of immigration prison, his lawyers proved that ICE has made desultory attempts to deport him to Ghana, Uganda, and Eswaitini, all of whom refused. It’s all about ICE Barbie vowing Abrego Garcia would never walk the streets of America.
