SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.

Something underrated in all of this Giannis discourse is knowing he doesn’t care about the salary cap, the Bucks replaced Khris Middleton with Kyle freaking Kuzma.

This. GA will never come out and demand a trade. Him forcing a trade was always going to look like this—pressure from everywhere else to make the Bucks uncomfortable.

The Giannis thing is you just have to hope his heart is in it this year or at least the first quarter of the season.

And that's a lot to ask for any person who moved their family and already indicated a soft trade request.
