Banning the 🇪🇺 only shows the post #Brexit British insecurity and provincialism.
catiomiles.bsky.social
As we discuss flags and their meaning and values, the 🇪🇺 is banned in the U.K. according to a 2021 Boris Johnson law still in place under Starmer.

But the flag represents everything for people in Ukraine, or Budapest, Romania or Tbilisi. 👇

Maybe there's something in this Nigel Farage and Nathan Gill Russian bribes story....
Lots of stories about Nathan Gill and Russian bribes.

commonwealth citizens were allowed to vote

But the English people resident in Wales and Scotland did vote.

Why not?

It is more democratic.

And I think Labour promised reforms to extend the franchise.

Democracy means to give Scotland and Wales the right to choose their own future without Westminster interference.

This also means the BBC should be broken up with independent national broadcasters in Scotland, Wales and NI.

There is no liberal case to keep Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland as part of the U.K. if those countries want to leave.

Are Labour really going to try and tie current economic damage (and hence the need for further tax rises) to Farage and to Brexit, whilst at the same time insisting that persevering with Brexit is the right thing to do?

That feels like gaslighting of the very highest order.

They need to call a border poll as soon as possible.

We know that Ireland Unity will be achieved sooner or later.

So what’s the point in keeping the people of NI in poverty for much longer?

Fiona promised they will at the end of the show as they didn’t cover at all the 4th question (usually they have 4 questions), which was on the climate emergency…

I feel sorry for Zia Yusuf

Someone please have mercy on him and hand him a history book so he can learn about the role of useful idiots

Zack Polanski, "Reform UK's Zia Yusuf was full of b*llocks and I think it was important to call that out on #BBCQT"

"What has become clear about Reform UK, they're a bunch of cowards"

yes, but that result excluded the EU residents

The main pro independence party in Wales is pro EU.

No one is stopping the English to go on a dinghy and cross the channel to France in this way if it’s easier…

Well, Scotland, Wales and NI can join the EU and they want to joi the EU.

The only country that did #Brexit is England and in that process they broke the UK as well.

Better to say goodbye to Britain quickly rather than suffering an agonising long end to it.

They should be arrested for not respecting the traffic signage where it clearly says pedestrians are forbidden there.

In the UK we have Keir -island of strangers- Starmer, whose government is driving right wing anti immigrant and asylum seeker policies

In Spain, Pedro Sánchez is not only celebrating diversity, they're embracing and speaking positively about immigrants
