Unemployment has climbed to its highest level since the pandemic.

Socialist economic policies that have the wellbeing of people at their heart would create jobs for workers.

But we’ve seen the opposite from Labour.

It’s never been clearer that Labour has abandoned its working-class roots.

The response from Keir Starmer's spokesman - a denial there is a problem, a denial he must know to be untrue - strongly suggests Labour is no longer concerned to adhere to its human rights obligations.

As someone who briefly taught A-level English, I see that migrants will now be required to have studied at least one of the Canterbury Tales before entering Britain. May I recommend The Nun's Priest's Tale?

I'm sure every Reform voter will be able to share their knowledge of the works of Chaucer.

People who know about this stuff, tell me this is AI ... which is thoroughly depressing as I hate AI but this genuinely did make me piss my pants laughing ... and I'm willing to excuse pretty much anything if it's genuinely funny*

Imagine a bunch of bright folk who considered it their sacred duty to challenge conventional wisdom, hold the powerful to account, correct lies, bring new voices to the fore, add nuance to debate and never defend the indefensible

And then write about it with style

That's called a functioning media
