Unsurprising that most Scots back Sarwar's call for Starmer to resign, but the relevant numbers are towards the end of this piece:

Sarwar's net approval is down to -25 from -21 last month.

More 2024 Labour voters now disapprove of his performance than approve.
Majority of Scots back Anas Sarwar’s revolt against Keir Starmer
Despite the view that the Scottish Labour leader’s call for the prime minister to resign has backfired, it landed well with 52 per cent of voters

Exactly what @direthoughts.com says

And if Josh Simons was so “distressed and furious” by the investigation - that he commissioned - into journalists why didn’t he mention this last week?

Why did he say the investigation was into a “suspected illegal hack”?

This all makes zero sense….
Simons is now saying that he was “distressed and furious” when he found APCO’s investigation had “extended far beyond the contract I agreed, including information on Pogrund.”

So 1) why did this come as such a surprise?
2) why then continue to work with APCO & take its work (minus Pogrund) to GCHQ?

Now he is saying that the ‘PRCA is investigating’ so nothing else to see here

If he was so ‘distressed’ by the reports he commissioned why is he ok with a voluntary PR trade body being the only accountability?

The amount of people I’ve talked to who seem to read the right wing talking points on the SNP with no clue how they contrast with UK politics is really wild. The SNP have their faults but they have been giving us many things we have asked for consistently
Well said. I moved back to Scotland 5 years ago after 16 years in the south of England. What always gets me is the amount of ppl who say the SNP have destroyed Scotland, for all their faults they’re protecting it from a lot (Westminster) & if you haven’t lived elsewhere I don’t think that’s obvious.
