It's a double whammy this morning!

It is lovely revisiting these Season 1 episodes to re-record and re-edit them. Much has been trimmed and much restored from the cutting room floor.

The end result, I think, is even better. What do you think?
🆕 Director's Cut: ECHO & NARCISSUS - The Influencer & The Follower

🏛️ Even more storytelling. Even stranger connections. Even cleaner sound. Even worse puns.

Brush up, ahead of Season 2.

“How dare they smile, enjoy snatched moments, or for that matter, breathe.”
There is so much messed up about this front page Express story today.

There's no suggestion or evidence ANY alcohol or drugs was consumed. This is literally just people dancing.

And buried in the piece: "The footage is believed to have been filmed just before Labour took power in July last year."

Timely episode of Behind The Lines on the real implications of Trump's botched "peace deal" and what next for Ukraine. @snellarthur.bsky.social chats to Ukrainian diplomat Iuliia Osmolowska and explains it to me.

I see stuff like this and instantly think of one of my favourite H.L. Mencken witticisms:

"Democracy is the theory that voters know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard."

(Great webinar @luketryl.bsky.social.)
Striking bit of @moreincommonuk.bsky.social's pre-budget briefing (watch in full on their channels). Voters think means-testing winter fuel benefit was *WORSE* that partygate and as bad as profiteering on PPE. And gov't breaking its pledge on tax would be worse than all of the above. 👀👀👀 ~AA

It really is so absurd to claim "I get small business because I worked in a MacDonalds once and what business needs is another massive costly upheaval in four years, just as they have absorbed the last change." Even before you add the fact that she is unlikely to be Tory leader by next summer.
