YouTube's monetization policies are unreliable and aggravating. Honestly not surprised if they're getting reliable Patreon funding that they'd take a bit of a YouTube cut just for stability

Bought a little iPad floating stand that attached to my gaming table for game tonight. The iPad ran the Owlbear Rodeo instance while I ran the other stuff on my tablet and it was so nice. I still miss having my full widescreen multi monitor setup while DMing in person, but this is a nice first step.

Take out the racism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, and Nazi stuff, then yes, I agree.

We are too closed down in our silos, on both sides, that we often see the other side as villains.

Being willing to discuss and debate the other side is great. Just need to approach it in good faith.

Finally: AI cannot do your job, but an AI salesman can 100% convince your boss to fire you and replace you with an AI that can't do your job, and when the bubble bursts, the money-hemorrhaging "foundation models" will be shut off and we'll lose the AI that can't do your job, and you will be long gone, retrained or retired or "discouraged" and out of the labor market, and no one will do your job.
AI is the asbestos we are shoveling into the walls of our society and our descendants will be digging it out for generations:
