I missed picking up a shard in DQ7, fortunately it was easy enough to get, just missed doing one thing, but now I'm gonna afraid of missing them since they're required to progress

Hi folks, the first of the month is approaching fast and I currently only have about $20 towards rent which is $1100 plus I really need to stay on top of my medication which is about $120. Please help if you can, those jobs falling through was really discouraging but I'm doing my best

I hold this opinion even for games with text heavy stories
My even more unpopular opinion is unless you have personally experienced the thing, you should probably refrain from having an opinion on it.
We need to return to shaming people for parroting YouTube/TikTok with stuff like "When I want your opinion, I'll just find the YouTuber who gave it to you."

There's gotta be some kind of easy shorthand term for "game that on paper has a lot of complexity and depth, yet the level and enemy design never really demands you tap into it"
But such a term would so quickly be used for slander

honestly I feel like DQ11 in part does some of what DQ7 does
the way you kinda go from town to town dealing with these almost episodic little stories that all sort of point towards the big evil feels very similar

so like the way ffxiv's glamour system currently works is you can make one piece of gear look like any other piece of gear so long as the other piece of gear is compatible with the class you're playing
