Note the protesters are in a “designated free-speech area” for this protest outside of the facility. The IL police kettle them, & start beating several protesters to the ground anyway. Please keep this in mind when you see Gov Pritzker posting about how he is supposedly “standing up” against 🧊/feds.

Conservative US Catholics are by and large culturally and philosophically protestant. Unless they're the deeply unserious "deus vult" adult convert types, the church is just something that came with their birth certificate. They're definitely more John Calvin than St. Francis.
