(👻☕) Percy is wearing a shirt titled "Miyoshi" which features a ghostly lady smiling while covering her eyes with her umbrella. It was a gift from Rococo, but he generally avoids wearing it unless he's absolutely out of clothes (which is what's happening in this picture since it's laundry day). Finished playing Anthology of the Killer last night. It's a collection of short adventure games about death and murder. In fact it might be the most about death and murder than anything else about death and murder. It goes hard and goofy and incredibly heavy when it wants to and I kind of love it.

And its normalized both by CMs and game brands!! Its so weird to me!! I get that maybe being a CM of a game is the first platform many CMs find themselves with, but its SO irresponsible of game brands to lean on their employee's personal lives during times of turbulent game issues.

A CM is for running official social channels. The weird practice of CMs addressing things from their own personal Twitter account is such a gross overstep of an individual employee's digital space and makes ZERO sense to me.

There's something thats been bothering me - What's up with the video game industry using personal social media profiles of CMs to address hot button issues?
Like for real, how does that make any sense? Why should you follow the personal account of a CM to see a "We see your feedback guys" post?

As well as this, I feel quite strongly that the increased prominence in recent years of social media influencers who engage in nothing but ragebait content and harassment has proverbially sucked all the air out of the room, content mills producing bullshit at speed who dominate gaming conversations.

Spirit Swap was a seriously neat Match-3 game that also came out earlier this year, very chill little game with some extremely vibrant visuals and an excellent soundtrack, really living up to that "Lofi Beats to Match-3 To" sub title, and shockingly only has 199 reviews as of posting this.

Something else I was playing recently was Everdeep Aurora which came out back in July, a positively lovely little platformer in the vein of Steamworld Dig where you play a little cat with a drill, the music is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm shocked it only has 135 reviews as of writing.

It's a far more speedy process to create content if you're just relaying rumours or bullshit than if you're taking time to properly cover games, which would involve playing it and at the very least having enough written about it for first impressions. But for ragebait? Playing a game is redundant.
