If you belittle or criticize furries who aren’t hurting anyone but tickles your insecurities or because they’re “making furries look bad”, you aren’t welcome near me.

I don’t care how much someone makes you cringe; that’s your problem, not theirs.

We used to joke about how if you want to make friends, you should become a furry…

I think many people are actually taking that advice and joining the fandom.

I don’t like to gatekeep, but it’s important to set a social contract that we prioritize community and we don’t disparage.

I can’t imagine real furries will be buying these lol, tbh i cant see anyone buying these. Outdated, ai, not very funny, not wearable in public

GLITCH as a studio/partner is so exciting! It's been a long time coming for a group like this to not only fund cool originals but help others with their own indie animations. Super excited for Gaslight, KoG, Lackadaisy, and of course for new TADC :D

As it keeps coming up: I have a few open source projects I've wanted to work on, but they all had bad docs, and the answer was always: Join our discord, you can talk to the other devs!

And the answer is no. You should write good docs, you should not hide them on an unsearchable discord.

This is why, more and more, I just can't muster up any desire to be a success in the mainstream art world. They want AI to make "content" for people who don't care.

I care about my art, and I want to give it to an audience who cares.

Sums it up nicely. Every time I see some "proship dni" in someone's bio I sigh heavily because most the time it doesn't mean anything at all.

the negativity and ragebaity shift of online discussion has been extremely saddening for me and has ruined so many of the communities and their cultures

As well as this, I feel quite strongly that the increased prominence in recent years of social media influencers who engage in nothing but ragebait content and harassment has proverbially sucked all the air out of the room, content mills producing bullshit at speed who dominate gaming conversations.

If you are making, say, a youtube-like. But I cant watch on my tv easily, or there is no mobile app, or you don’t support 4k, why would i switch? Just because this one is decentralized or has some other gimmick? I think ppl overestimate the impact of their “hook” for these sites.
