The anecdotal feedback from Caerphilly ( backed up strongly by longer term polling data) is that young people in Wales favour PC over both Ref and Lab
Thats fair but the UK commentators, including the estimable @stephenkb.bsky.social seem incapable of considering that this might even be a factor
The amusing thing about the UK media analysis is a refusal to accept that there might be a decidedly Welsh political strand to the result. Of Labour’s rivals on the left PC are the closest to Welsh Lab of them all with fresher policies and better communicators so its an easy shift for Lab voters

Decades after the Heysel and Hillsborough disasters, can politicians please not second-guess expert safety assessments for football stadiums.

Thank you.

An Aston Villa fan.
There’s more than “an argument”; it was pretty clear at the time that it was a strong motivating factor in areas that had suffered especially badly from cuts
And bottom team gets relegated?
I think a “stream of consciousness has been written up” would be a better description.

The "cost of living crisis" might be yesterday's news to some, but for people on low incomes facing food insecurity, the rising price of basics is still a major issue
This is how much the price of food has risen in 5 years... 🤯

🥛Milk, eggs and cheese: +47%
🍖 Meat: +35%
🧈 Oil and butter: +60%
🍞 Cereal and bread: +34%
🍓 Fruit: +26%
🥦 Vegetables: +35%
Wales and its neighbours is simple and accurate
I reckon confidence and supply is more likely
I understand edible hats are available
When Labour are now behind Plaid Cymru in polls for Westminster in Wales I suspect his position is more than a little shaky
The Corbyn party will probably manage to save his seat for him by taking votes off the Greens
And the fact that Trump’s America First ideology inevitably harms the UK in both trade and security terms; so while some UK people like the principles of MAGA they dont like its impact.
But we’d go back above them if we beat them in November which is pretty likely
Reform are certain to gain a bridgehead in Wales though their chances of being in government are low but the new electoral system could produce some very odd results if the left of centre vote splits too evenly.
Nah Cardiff cheated by fielding a Lion
Shouldn’t he be pontificating that there were fine people on both sides? Until he realised that he doesn’t really think that about the counter demonstrators
Is “temporary” in geological terms?

Yes. It didn’t take long to do my considering and concluding that even in a very weak field he’s a bona fide village idiot
