I did always like that in the Nightmare movies, though I feel like it works less well with the Halloween/Friday type killers, you really need a slasher with a personality for that scene to hit home

Yeah, Bronson in a bit part, I think it’s technically French, but it’s very much a spaghetti western. Watch it like a month ago, but haven’t gotten around to posting about it, just been busy.

#Shocktober Masters of Horror: Dance of the Dead (2005) - Hooper,
/Matheson/Corgan less than the sum of their parts. The non-stop lens flares and jittery jump cuts and distortion are intolerable. Also, the titular “dance” is a huge letdown - why would anyone would pay good money to watch that?

My favorite Struzan story is that he was doing the poster for Indy at Disneyland, but they didn't have the rights to Ford's likeness. Fed up with working around the problem, Struzan just called Ford and was like, "hey, can I use your face for this," and Ford said, "if it's for you, absolutely."

Yup, I always used to have at least one physically small light book I was reading specifically for the subway. Now I use the library app for the same purpose.
