probably a solid bet if it has a similar effect as with food

Ooh man, that storyline does not sound appealing to me at all, but love to see Wunmi Mosaku pop up ANYWHERE

Like, Jason, you might as well try to shame a toaster 😆

I did always like that in the Nightmare movies, though I feel like it works less well with the Halloween/Friday type killers, you really need a slasher with a personality for that scene to hit home

with the soft core pages or without 😆

I usually love Timo but the comedy in this didn’t work for me, and none of the fights had quite the same punch at that AMAZING bus fight from the first one, which was top tier.

Yeah, it felt kind of half assed and experimental

Halfway through October and I’m on track for at least one horror movie a day, here’s where I’m at now. And of course, will be seeing The Erotic Rites of Frankenstein in theater this week ⚡️🔩🍆

But man, I could watch The Sicilian Clan any day

Yeah, Bronson in a bit part, I think it’s technically French, but it’s very much a spaghetti western. Watch it like a month ago, but haven’t gotten around to posting about it, just been busy.

Yeah, I love all his crime flicks, but recently watched a spaghetti western he did which was pretty disappointing.

I remember reading this and laughing my ass off.

#Shocktober Masters of Horror: Dance of the Dead (2005) - Hooper,
/Matheson/Corgan less than the sum of their parts. The non-stop lens flares and jittery jump cuts and distortion are intolerable. Also, the titular “dance” is a huge letdown - why would anyone would pay good money to watch that?
Poster Dance

That’d be a pretty unimpeachable October

My favorite Struzan story is that he was doing the poster for Indy at Disneyland, but they didn't have the rights to Ford's likeness. Fed up with working around the problem, Struzan just called Ford and was like, "hey, can I use your face for this," and Ford said, "if it's for you, absolutely."

Yup, I always used to have at least one physically small light book I was reading specifically for the subway. Now I use the library app for the same purpose.

RIP Drew Struzan. Not just a movie poster artist but a man capable of putting lightning in a bottle, and of taking the form of cinema and encapsulating its spirit in still imagery. The best that will ever do it.

Here are 4 of my favorites:

The only green flag my father has is that animals fucking LOVE him. All animals. Everything else is red flag city.

Why can’t I get paid to change the towels in my closet where the rain started coming through at 2am last night 😆

Don’t know how I missed this the past few days, but holy fuck, well done. Somehow the Todd Blanche/Ghislaine Maxwell interview was the funniest bit. The Onion … is relevant again?!??
