I've thought about this play plenty since yesterday. Curry draws two and relocates to the corner. Ayton tells Luka to pick him up. Payton sets a screen to prevent a closeout. Draymond fakes the pass to Curry to get Luka in the air, opening up the Payton cut. Good stuff all around.

I think the biggest reason the NBA on NBC's return hits like it does is that there were times when it felt like ESPN and TNT weren't even *trying* to pretend they liked the NBA. NBC's coverage exudes positivity and energy and just that they give a shit and that means everything.
