In 2021 I had the honour of taking part in TedX Bath, where I talked about how trans people are dehumanised.

I'm 24 years old. I have a mortgage and own my own home, and I have a full time job.

But under Cass' recommendations Levy, I wouldn't be trusted with hormones if he decides to consider it.

Shows how ridiculous it all is.

These new figures come in the wake of 2024's Cass Review of gender services for children, which recommended the creation of a 'follow-through service' for 17 to 25-year-olds. Cass said this would help "ensure continuity of care and support at a potentially vulnerable stage in a trans person's journey" and "allow clinical and research follow-up data to be collected". This sparked fears that access to healthcare, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) would be restricted or even banned for under-25s -

Part 2 of the Gender Clinic Files is out, looking at the impact if Cass recommendations for adult services were introduced, affecting more than 32k young trans adults just from the current waiting list.

ALL OUT AGAINST !!

All out against transphobia! On Saturday, November 1, TERFS intend to march in London, demanding trans exclusionary, discriminatory legislation, and threatening trans people on our streets.

We cannot let this happen unchallenged- they may have been emboldened by the Supreme Court Ruling, but so have we. Just a few days after ruling, we marched through Westminster to express our rage, be with community, and make it clear that we would continue to fight for trans liberation. That march was only the start.

We need as many people possible out again on the first of November, to show up for collective liberation and show the TERFS that they will never divide us. less

The Tories had a kind of 'response unit' that sat several floors above us that provided 'party line' responses to common or contentious issues for MPs to use.

V rare for an MP to directly be doing casework from what ive seen.

Having worked for an MP, my experience & observation is that the casework is predominantly dealt with by staffers, unless its either something the MP is specifically interested in or something a lot of noise is made about.

Cant believe its the 50th anniversary of Rocky Horror. Lovely to see some of the cast reunite in this video.

Went to see the stage show in London, with Jason Donovan having a big corset to fill but utterly owning it as Frank.

Also my first time out in a corset!

Great show, fab night.

Theyve burnt every bridge they had, and are now stuck on a sinking island in the middle of a swamp of their own making.

Totally lost their way since Nancy left, all out of ideas, got rid of the only talent they had.

Others are far more effective, and if youre chucking 3k at something, give it to an org thats actually helping the community, not cowering in the dark.

Are Stonewall sending their own leadership, given the appalling lack of the same theyve shown in supporting trans people under Simon Blakes tenure?

It'll cost an eye watering £2400 - £3600 for Stonewalls 'leadership programme' too.

Not many trans groups or orgs able to drop that kinda cash.

The newly released Official Statistics for Hate Crime in 2024-2025 do not accurately reflect the true prevalence of anti-LGBT+ hate in England and Wales. This misrepresentation matters.
