It’s eye opening and that class’s course book was probably the only book I read front to back. I swear after taking it, the world started to make sense.
It was my ticket out of poverty. Without scholarships, I wouldn’t have been able to go so I truly went there with the purpose of improving my life and trajectory and that’s exactly what I did

19. Is college a scam? Why or why not?
How much of the experience is really what you make it.

I have a lot more bills but settled into who I am versus trying to figure it out.

Greek life. It was overplayed and a lot of them were collective losers with hive mind mentality.

Driving around the city with my floor mates and RA in our pajamas in the middle of the night.

Seeing a bunch of coke. Like A LOT and people just doing it which was crazy to me.

Live off campus.

Theories in sociology.

Take advantage of building relationships with your professors. Get involved on campus. It will take you a long way.

It was cool. Came into myself and it made me realize how smart I really was.

I wanted to understand people and why majority of them are really dumb.

The studies of crime and why people commit them as well as the social hierarchy of the human experience.

She was the only one that offered to support me after my mom had her stroke.
