King Arthur is great but one time I got heritage whole wheat flour from a historic mill with a water wheel (!!!) and made the best biscuits I’ve ever had

I think they’re great too!! But they do have a fascinating history. Similarly, tennis is a great sport despite being used in the gilded age to facilitate socially appropriate courtship

Yep! At least the very fancy ones in Maine that were all mysteriously founded in the 1890’s and 1900’s. It came from a fear that WASP boys weren’t becoming men and WASP girls were not going to be healthy enough to have babies, due to modernity
