I got canceled by a squad of fellow grad students at the height of Covid era Karen hysteria and I still have to deal w the guy I yelled at over zoom acting like I’m a violent threat at professional conferences bc it makes him feel good to do it. She skipped the part after acknowledging mistakes & apologizing where you accept people still get to not like you or care that youre working on yourself. I agree it isnt great to not have ppl care re personal growth or even unjust personal suffering but that’s life, take some personal responsibility
