Popped into Gwithti An Pystri in Falmouth for a great local art showing and saw this cabinet on the way out, great to see @fenrisgames.com stickers making the rounds.
A cabinet showing a collection of rpg miniatures from the 70s and 80s with text describing the revival of fantasy in the 70s. Also shows a caf sticker that displays love miniatures hate fascism. A cabinet showing the basic red dungeons and dragons book along with the original yellow tunnels and trolls rulebook, alongside some dice and a collection of miniatures from the 70s and 80s.

Went to a presentation by Jervis Johnson on game design and his career, in Cornwall last night. Great talk by the man himself and some lovely insights into the industry.

Couple more from Checkpoint that I finished up this week. :)

Count Orlock from Checkpoint Miniatures sculpted by Mate Lavotha, probably one of most favourite sculpts, look at the face! And my take on their tentacle beast (with bonus pup!).
An old man stood with his arms behind his back, his bald head very pale with red eyes, probably a vampire. Bipedal beast with tentacles dripping out its maw of a face. Bipedal beast with a sleeping Labrador in the background

Could you help us out? It's been one of the quietest months in a decade, and partly I believe it's because people don't know we exist! Hi! I'm Annie! I run Bad Squiddo Games! We hand sculpt & hand cast 28mm scale models of women, critters, scenics & occasionally a man!

Walking by the local Swanpool nature reserve today and saw these two Terrapins sunning themselves on a branch. Always knew they were there but first time I’ve seen them after years of walking round there. #Falmouth

Spent some time in the woods and had to create a chalk drawing of all the eyes. Also the stick insects here are absolutely massive, if ever one moves we run like the prey we are.

Quick play with some washes tonight on this suitably grim Night Horror, sculpted by Andrew May and from Checkpoint Miniatures www.checkpointminiatures.co.uk/shop/ntc16-n...

Thanks for the baking soda tip! Saw someone using it in a turnip 28 video putting some bits together and thought it was to create some texture etc when gluing, did not realise it was to support the superglue.

Had this one on the backlog list to get for a while, looks like such a great box!

Been a while and need to give myself a creative kick but these are some of ones I made and painted myself. (Bar the small railway scale people).

Out today through the mud to see the heads of seals sprinkle the ocean. Then back through the lanes to an inn with a friendly face and warm fire. #Cornwall

Ive been on Bluesky for only a week and I'm already asking for help! My coffers are empty! Running Ramshackle is basically being a struggling artist. The last couple of months I've had really low sales, and I'm about to go bust 😭 if you have been considering a purchase then please make it now!

Finished up some simple schemes on the Battletech starter. Might actually find some time and get round to playing one day!
