Started watching the new Frankenstein - we all know AI wasn’t used in it - but there are a fair few scenes which unfortunately have the same feel? Hard to describe, might be a mix of very high def cgi that isn’t well designed, like the tower

I think it's important to remember that this community of online buddies we have here, who are aware of the dangers or AI, Musk, censorship, jkrowling etc is such a tiny microcosm , its like zooming in to a tiny part of a cell - anyone outside literally has no idea

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Preaching to the choir here I think, but a good insight into how oral and local knowledge are important to humanity, and will always get overlooked by the AI overlords as they march towards western homogenization

The worst thing is that from a design point of view, AI is just used to generate loads of shit stand-in props and/or dialogue - do you know who could also do that? - one of the 20,000 job applicants that don't meet your insane role specifications
