This week’s
#ShowMeYourKnits prompt is sweaters, so here’s my favourite, the Fine Sweater that I made a couple of years ago - a fantastic pattern by Yu Jie 🧶

I have made it to the red part of my handspun yarn and it's weaving up SO NICE.

It’s kids week for #SewAndTell - I haven’t sewn any children’s clothes but I’ve enjoyed making a few kid-friendly hand-sewn Christmas tree decorations out of felt

Oh dear, I don’t have many garter stitch knits for #ShowMeYourKnits this week (and I think I’ve shown this one before) - cardi for baby Nori, which was posted off last week 🧶

#SewAndTell week 22 is work in progress. I’m turning this William Morris cotton into a Fibre Mood Edith blouse. Feels like I’ve done lots of pattern tracing and cutting, but not a lot of actual sewing yet! #sewing #garmentsewing

Stashbusting chunky cowl is done - and ridiculously warm - early entry for #ScrapAlong2026 🧶

#ShowMeYourKnits this week is HANDS. Here’s my hand a year ago while I was making these fingerless gloves from the Fellowship of the Knits book 🧶

Managed to get through a lot of leftover wool last year, thanks to the Scrap Along - well done to @thehairyknitter.bsky.social for curating this. Now to work out what to do with the mixture of Aran yarn in the cupboard! 🧶
If the past year has shown us nothing else, it's the imperative of community, purpose, focus, and resources. Scrap Along 2026 can contribute to all of those.

The event begins on Valentines Day and ends on the Ides of March (15 March). Start earlier or finish later, but make something with leftover

#SewAndTell this week is blue - here’s the @sewoveritlondon.bsky.social pussy bow blouse in a blue floral pattern from a few years ago #garmentsewing

Strange isn't it... the people who actually live in London overwhelmingly think it's safe.... almost like everyone else is falling for a lie
I wonder what Londoners know that the rest of the country don’t?

Another “what’s on your needles?” post! There wasn’t enough chunky wool left to make another sleeveless jumper so I decided to make a cowl instead 🧶#ShowMeYourKnits

#SewAndTell this week is “what’s on your needles” - unfortunately it’s my red Kidsilk Haze cardi (again). I thought I had caught all the moth holes when I did some mending last week, then I wore it and found some more! 🧶

First knit of the year, using some chunky wool left over from other projects #ShowMeYourKnits 🧶

This week’s #SewAndTell theme is joy. One thing about #garmentsewing that gives me a lot of joy is knowing that I’ve made something utterly unique - my fabric choices, my fit, my mistakes!

Happy New Year #ShowMeYourKnits crew! This week’s theme is Firsts, so here’s the first time I turned digital artwork into intarsia - this was also my first commission (I think), a jumper for a 16th birthday present (artwork created by the recipient’s dad, based on her favourite plush) 🧶

Sorted out the cupboard yesterday and am optimistic that I might get a tank top out of the chunky wool left over from other projects #knitsky 🧶

These are rubbish photos but I have just finished my last #garmentsewing make of 2025, so I thought they would be good for this week’s #SewAndTell theme of 2025 reflections and 2026 resolutions! Vogue coat in raspberry Shetland wool

I decided to make another pattern from the Fellowship of the Knits book, using leftover wool (just ran out of teal at the very end!) #knitsky 🧶

The last #ShowMeYourKnits of the year is Knitter’s Choice - here’s my favourite baby knit from this year, plus I finally learned how to do double knitting (will I ever learn brioche?!) #knitsky 🧶
