even gatherings with less people are hotbeds for illness. i got covid my first day of class last year cause the guy i was sitting behind in a lecture was sick, and the next week all his friends that were sitting by him were either absent or wearing masks. cons are just multiplying that tenfold

with fanfest coming back around people are reflecting on the furry covid comic about it but as someone who went, there were shockingly few people actually wearing masks. if you go this year i’d really recommend an N95. people knowingly go to huge public events with infectious diseases.
